RD: Please tell us a little bit about yourself.

HN: I’m Hannah from New Zealand. A mum of 2 preschoolers, a wife and a nearly 30 year old woman it feels like I’ve got a lot of hats. I blog at Nipenda – Life + Love (www.nipenda.com).  I work parttime as a children’s co-ordinator, and previously have studied, worked and I’m still doing the mainly stay at home mum thing. I love organising and am passionate about inspiring others through the blog and facebook groups I run.

RD: How and when did you first discover Rhodia products?

HN: I first discovered Rhodia in a bullet journal discussion group in mid 2014 – just an offhand comment I noticed. There are no bookstores here that sell them, but by chance, we were on holiday that weekend in a town 1.5 hours flight away – and I managed to find the only shop in the city that had a webnotebook. That was what I was looking for! First touch, and I was sold.

RD: Which are your favorite Rhodia products?

HN: By far, it’d be the Rhodia webnotebook. The A5 size, orange or black I don’t mind, and most definitely it has to be dotted.

RD: Do you always use the same product(s) or do you change periodically?

HN: I have only used these so far – in orange or black – but I am very tempted to try the landscape version as well.

RD: Do you use them in any way that is specific to your work?

HN: I specifically use the Webnotebook as a bullet journal – if you are wondering what this is, there is an amazing guide by the creator here: www.bulletjournal.com. I specifically have set it up with daily journal pages in the front and the list and “collections” I make in the back as shown in this blog post of mine.

RD: Does using Rhodia products make your job easier in any way? (Do quality tools make the job easier?)

HN: The idea of using a notebook that has no bleed through with all the pens I have used (other than sharpie’s of course!) and feels smooth to write on, is consistently amazing and I know will last until I finish the book (and a lot further than that!) make it so easy to both use and recommend Rhodia.

RD: Pencil, pen, or other? Favorites?

HN: It’s always a pen here, and usually it’s a Staedtler pigment liner… But in saying that, I’ve also love Rotring Tikki and the Micron Pigma in this!

RD: Where do you regularly purchase Rhodia products?

HN: So far it’s been zany.co.nz and mighty.co.nz

RD: Is there any way we could improve on your favorite product?

HN: #1 would be making the Rhodiarama have a dot grid option – you’d open the market well and truly up to the bullet journal community (as more options in colour!). Also, making the ribbon from a higher quality ribbon, longer (at least 1cm longer than the length from top left corner to bottom right corner) and finishing the ribbon smoothly (the ones I’ve received have been wonky and much too short – one didn’t even reach past the bottom of the book) would help massively.

Be sure to check out Hannah’s Bullet Journal 101 post on her blog to see how to get started with this excellent and productive system!
