Side Stapled Meeting Book

ss mb

We recently received an interesting email from a Rhodia fan about the possibility of a A5 side staplebound meeting book. I thought it was a good idea since not everyone is a fan of wirebound notebooks.

For those who are not familiar with the meeting book, it was invented by the president of Clairefontaine for his own use, this notebook is designed to be an all-in-one record of meeting discussions, decisions and action items. Separate sections make it easy to organize and review.

What do you think about the possibility? Is there any other “mash up” products you would like to see?

  1. I didn’t know such a product was available, probably because of the wire-bounding which I’m not really a fan. A stappled one could be nice, but it has to lay flat down as a wire-bound does.
Oh and… I second Angela about the tearing thing. We should not be able to remove pages.

  2. I think it’s a nice idea actually.
The wire-bound meeting book is great for me regarding school and taking notes in class but sometimes the paper tends to tear at the ends especially when being lugged around in my bag. So it’d be nice to have the availability of one that isn’t for tearing out.
