JUL Designs Leather Cover Raffle

body_image (3)

These covers are so gorgeous we’re having a hard time raffling them off!

JUL Designs generously donated two leather covers for a Rhodia Drive raffle:  “The Artisan Notebook” in soft brown leather; and “The Traveler Notebook” in soft black leather.

Each notebook will hold a 5.75 x 8.25″ notebook.  We are including a Clairefontaine and two Rhodia notebooks with each cover.

You can read more about the covers on the JUL Design website.

JUL Designs, LLC was founded in 2007 by Laura Bellows, a former academic and cultural anthropologist, in collaboration with Agus Astradhi, a Balinese jewelry designer and artist. Their products are made by hand in the United States or Fair Trade in Indonesia where they work in collaboration with artisans and artists to develop and release exciting new designs.

“We at JUL believe strongly that behind beautiful design and high quality products is the ethical treatment of workers and a respectful approach to our customers.  We absolutely love what we do and want to share our passion through design and manufacture of beautiful products for customers that place the same value on style and excellent quality that we do.”

Sign up for the raffle by commenting on this blog post and letting us know your color preference, and why the cover would be meaningful to you.

The raffle is open through Sunday, May 3, 2015. The winners will be notified by email on May 4.

Good luck to all!

  1. These look terrific (my preference would be the brown), and they would hold my favorite size of notebook, the easiest to carry!

  2. Intrigued by the design of the black, but I prefer neutrals so would coose brown if I somehow miraculously was a winner. :)

  3. The cover would be meaningful in such it would protect my loved notebooks, whilst providing tactile feedback that will change with age by my use, marking my time spent cogitating, writing, drawing. My preference is for The Traveler Notebook, hence black. With thanks for arranging the raffle with JUL Designs and for introducing their site.
