What Are You Reading?

Books and Paperwhite

I started reading The Goldfinch on Christmas Day and just finished the 800 page novel last night. While the concept was interesting, I found this book to be mind-numbingly looooong.

Contemplating what to read next: Dr. Sleep by Stephen King, Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail by Cheryl Strayed, or something else that you will tell me is wonderful and is a must read.

So… what are you reading right now, or what have you read lately that you really enjoyed?

  1. Command Control, Eric Schlosser. Utterly disquieting history of the nuclear weapons programs. My dad was in SAC and knew most of the characters in this book.

  2. I started rereading Gift from the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh – never fails to be both soothing and inspiring at the same time. Also, The Desire Map by Danielle LaPorte, and Walden, by Thoreau

  3. I just finished an amazing, for me life changing, book called”World Enough and Time Creativity and Slowing Down” by Christian McEwen. It’s a hard read to top, but I am now reading “Quiet”.
