Michael Martinez sent us these photos of a leather cover he recently made for his No. 16 dotPad. It is made from a vegetable tanned leather that has been dyed black with a process known as Vinegaroon. It has a pig skin lining and paracord closure.
I really like the contrast of the black cover to the brown interior of the case. What do you think of it? Should we encourage Michael to make a few more? Sell them on Etsy?
Thank you all for the kind words. I am in the process of refining the design and adding a few more features. I will update here once I have something for sale!
I would LOVE to have one of these in the #11 size….
pleaae let me know if you sell these!
I vote yes, and I would be one of the first to buy one. It looks sharp and has a unique style that sets it apart from other padfolio type products. I think just knowing it’s handmade would sell a lot of people on it.
