This wirebound Multiple Subject book by Clairefontaine features 60 sheets in pale pastel colors: blue, pink, green & yellow. It is graph ruled and includes 12 tabbed sections- this medium size is 6 3/4″ x 8 5/8.” Small (8 tabs) and large (4 tabs) versions are also available.
With 12 tabs, my first instinct would be to use this book in a yearly fashion; one month per tab – but how could we use this book? I’d love to hear your most ingenious ideas.
I bought this at a college bookstore because I can’t resist multicolored paper and when I saw the tabs and graph paper, I immediately thought it would be useful since I work at a lab. Each section would be a useful way to record various kinds of procedures for easy reference.

Oh, I LOVE this notebook. I never see anyone talking about it so I thought it was my secret :)
How I use it: To put down ideas for future projects. I get great ideas for books that are never the one I am currently working on, so I just go to the next subject and put them down there. When the time comes, all the bits I would have forgotten or lost are all in one place, for use or skritch-out as warranted. Since there aren’t too many pages per subject, there’s no waste.
