I am a Post-it Junkie

Stephanie

Any time I walk into Staples and see this display, it’s like I am immediately 8 years old again and seeing the toy aisle at Christmas time for the very first time. I know I have no need for any more of these products but I look them over again and again, certain that there must be a new color or new size that I can’t live without. I am a complete sucker for the little plastic flags and divider tags and there are piles of them all over my house.

Do you use any of these products? and what did people do before these were invented? Scotch tape? I wonder if the tape market took a hit when people started using stickie notes.

  1. Looks like a fun addiction.

I love motivational quotes and have thought about putting them on 3×5 cards then posting them in the car. But the look of 3×5 cards all over the dash wouldn’t be a good idea. Post-its could make it more pleasant on the eyes. Hee

I believe this might be the first step to a Post-it note addiction.

    Thanks Stephanie. heehee

  3. I love Post-Its! I couldn’t get through the day without them. I most certainly wouldn’t get anything done or remember all the things I need to do or pickup or whatever. I bless the man who discovered the stickie stuff every time I use one of the colorful bits.

Did you know you can buy a tube of sticky and make sticky notes with your own paper? Very handy should you not have any in pocket or purse. (haven’t seen it in a while though)

  5. I’m a fan of Post-Its. They tend to find themselves attached to my monitor at work, full of reminders. For a long time, I had one that said “Worry Less.”

we actually keep a few tubes of the restickable glue around, which basically turns anything into a Post-It. This has lead to the wall behind my desk at home being papered with photos, ticket stubs, and bib numbers.

I think the number of pictures, etc, has doubled since this photo was taken.

  7. Oh, I too, am a Post-it fanatic. The first thing I do when entering a Staples or Office Max is belly up to the Post-it aisle. Nirvana.

My obsession is definitely worthy of a 12-step program – but who wants to stop?
