Multiple Rhodia?

Stephanie

Howard Parker’s Piel Leather bag is filled with Rhodia- all in current use.

On my desk right now are 4 spiral books, 2 Rhodia, 2 Clairefontaine and also a Quo Vadis Habana. The small Habana is my current journal. A4 Rhodia Meeting Book is for personal projects, A5 Meeting Book is for Rhodia Drive. The Clairefontaine A5 Basics spiral with pockets is for developing material for my mandala workshops., and an A4 Clairefontaine spiral whose cover reads, “Put Pen to Paper, Delay No More” (a gift from Karen) which I’ve used to write my artist bio/statement, workshop descriptions, etc.

What about you? Do you use more than one paper product throughout your day, or is one enough? I can never seem to get enough. Biff loves paper. :o)

    Thanks for the link!

I actually have seen that, but it was probably about a year ago. They don’t sell what I’m looking for, but according to them the Moleskin cover was a customer idea (which they didn’t really think would go anywhere and it has).

They show a picture of a sketch book cover, but it’s not in the price list. I think I’m going to give them a shout.

I hate to say this, but I have left Rhodia’s line of journals for Quo Vadis. I know it’s the same company and the support goes the same way, but I really like the Orange :).

Quite frankly, the price has gone up a couple of times in the past year or little more – that is the main reason. The second reason is the small Habana isn’t quite as small as the small Rhodia and not as large as the large Rhodia. So, it is a combination of things, but I would’ve never looked over at the Habana if Rhodia prices weren’t going over $20.

Look to Gfeller Cases for a sweet leather notebook cover. They have a video on youtue that’s very interesting. Im not affiliated in any way, but I like their stuff.

And: pads to make notes, R to write correspondence, webbie for thoughts. 3, maybe 4 different per day. :-)

  5. I don’t even like all that I carry LOL! It’s not the notebooks that I carry which I don’t like, it’s the difficulty of carrying it all and keeping them from damage!

I have a Rhodia Reversible, small Habana, spiral Rhodia No. 16 graph, and the Excompta Sketchbook. I used to keep a No. 16 and No. 13 staple bound in the leatherette covers real close, but my work and school combination has changed and I couldn’t deal with the staple bound while driving.

What I carry changes almost quarterly because my lifestyle/workstyle changes and therefore my needs change.

Back to the point of keeping everything from damage. I wish I had a leather wrap, of sorts. Anybody have any ideas?
