Looking for 8.5 x 11″ Rhodia products?

Are you looking for Rhodia products in the standard American 8.5 x 11″ letter format? In this size pad, Rhodia utilizes the international A4 sizing which is slightly different in both length and width. Is the A4 sizing suitable for your needs? Why does one work better than the other for you? Would you prefer the North American sizing if available?

  1. Yes, I would very much appreciate American sized Rhodia paper. I organize using the Levenger Circa system. Levenger no longer produces the Circa Universal Notebook covers, which would accommodate European A4 paper. The Circa Notebooks now available will only accommodate American sized paper. I wholeheartedly agree that the Levenger notepads/paper quality has declined in recent years. The older notebooks/paper that they produced were far superior to what they currently produce. I also use a fountain pen and cannot find any fountain pen-friendly paper produced in the United States of America. My fountain pen, which is a Mont Blanc bleeds and feathers on American-made paper.

I have found Clairefontaine notebooks in 8.5 x 11.0; however, the choices are very limited.

  2. Like all other North Americans, I’m stuck with the letter size standard. As well, I’m stuck with notepads that use poor quality paper: Black n’ Red notepads are no longer available and, as someone else has noted, Levinger’s notepads have declined in quality.

I’d jump out of my shoes to purchase a legal-lined or college-lined letter-sized notepad from Rhodia. I’d jump even quicker were such an item available in Rhodia’s yellow paper. And although this should go without saying, both sides should be lined for those of us who believe that a piece of paper has two sides.
