A Puzzle for The Fountain Pen People and Those Who Like a Good Mystery

Stephanie

I recently came across this book at a local bookstore and it prompted me to ask several questions:

  1. What kind of pens are these?
  2. Why pens on the cover?
  3. Did the author use a fountain pen to write this book?
  4. Was the book any good? (A quick glance on Amazon gives it 4 stars out of 5 with 15 people having reviewed it.)

Any guesses or comments?

  1. As to the specific pens, don’t have an idea. But, the book is in the English teacozy mystery tradition. Minimal blood, lots of atmosphere. If that’s your bag, it’s a good read. Fountain pens fit into that sort of mood.

Tea is to fountain pen as cola is to ballpoint… ??
