Welcome to Blank Pad,  a forum to discuss topics about our latest products, your comments and themes related to our obsessions – pen, paper and such.  This Friday, we pose this question:

The color of writing.

Which ink color do you prefer?

  1. Perle Noire! (J. Herbin’s black) is my favorite color, then blues (Waterman’s Florida blue, bleu nuit or Eclat de Saphir). Purple’s comes next…. but I definetly like blacks for my journals … that color seems to give the writing an aura of old manuscript… and I love that about black inks; specially on ivory paper. Also is standard office ink for legal use. If I’m going to write something at the office on a meeting, I think it does not look very serious if I start writing in green or purple. Don’t get me wrong, I use those colors… but just for fun at home. :)
